NOMAD Science Statement and Policies Regarding the Coronavirus Outbreak of 2020-2023

Unfortunately due to the COVID pandemic, NOMAD Science had to cancel all 2020 and 2021 programming. We cautiously moved ahead with plans for 2022 with minimal disruption. We will continue to keep a close eye on the situation as travel time approaches. We hope that everyone understand and supports us in being fairly conservative regarding this matter as the safety of our participants, staff and the communities we work in has to be our number one priority - particularly given the extermely limited medical infrastructure in the remote regions that we work in. We also really value the opportunity to provide instruction to students who need the training for their future career paths, and want students to have the opportunity to do so in a safe environment.

Rest assured that participants who were offered spots in 2020 and 2021 who were unable to join us in 2022 will be offered priority for 2023.

Full vaccination is required at the time of application. Please keep good records of all COVID vaccinations as these will be required to enter Mongolia and participate in NOMAD Science programs.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and we hope to see you in Mongolia.
